Really the CV19 pandemic vaccine production is pretty much a charity job and CSL is probably required to produce it for the Australian government under its company charter , but it is diverting CSL resources from profitable work.
I guess the real payoff will come with post pandemic annual CV19 vaccinations, for which we can expect margins in line with the annual flu vaccinations.
