Because historical price action is not indicative of future price action. I.e. It may not get as low as $270 this time around, so if you are going to jump in or top-up, $280 or anywhere under is good. Never try and catch the bottom to the exact dollar. A few percent only make a big difference if you are talking hundreds of thousand or millions of dollars.
