Yes CSL business is very high quality, but the market because its aware of its high quality has also richly priced the share.

I wouldn't be bragging to much, CSL share price performance over last two years has been nothing to boast about. That represents two years of opportunity cost.

For long term holders, or those who don't wish to spend too much time analysising the market and its individual shares, sure I can well understand taking and holding a position in CSL.

But this does not mean that CSL is a good stock to hold for everyone all the time.


I am quite confident that Madamswear portfolio returns has been enhanced by not holding CSL for the last two years.
