Expect it isn't the same cost base; the cost structure is decidedly different: the cost of one of the more significant inputs went up... by a lot: more than 2.5 times, to $700 from $270 (your numbers, not mine).
"You buy more widget parts from your widget suppliers, make more widets, make more profits."
So despite the cost of the widget parts being supplied to you rising dramatically, you still get to make more profits, without even having to charge more for the widgets you make.
Pretty unique kind of unit economics, right there!
