Welcome back everybody for a recap of todays play between CSL vs. The ASX 'All Stars'. The game was initially scheduled to be played at 'The Basin' in Wellington, NZ. But even the governing body thought that not even CSL could get so low as The Basin. So, the match was moved to Sydney's Martin Place. Not that it mattered as XRO had already pre-booked the ground in a dress rehearsal for their upcoming grudge match where XRO are looking to redeem themselves from a woeful display in the recent exhibition match in the US of A in the hit & giggle Melio Cup.

Nonetheless, CSL were out of the blocks early before yet another mix up where Buy back was adjudged run out at the bowlers end after attempting a sneaky run. It can only be assumed that at the other end, Mckenzie didn't hear the call which ultimately left Buy Back stranded out of his crease.

Next in was Spill Meeting, who was eventually out for item 5. But it was Varm X who stole much of the days play after going in to bat and offered some resistance during the middle of the innings only to be stuck on the head, courtesy of a fast climbing short delivery that moved violently off the wicket, striking Varm X and consequently opened up a severe gash just above the left eyebrow. CSL's team Doctor - Haemo Philiac, trotted out to the middle and called for Anti Coagulant and a stretcher.

The wickets began to tumble and CSL crumbled. All out with the score at $198. Highest scorer for the day was Price-To-Earnings who was dismissed for 21 - well below their average of 39. Even yours truly put on a sneaky bet with the score on $199. But it wasn't to be. Even though the game was far from finished, it didn't stop the ASX team in gathering in the middle while busting out an oversized rendition of the team song "Think about what you could be buying instead".

Again, the heavens opened up in Sydney and it was a beautiful reminder as to why west is best. The game was abandoned and CSL seem to have much soul searching to do with the job ahead of them at the AGM Cup.
