CSM have done the right thing with REM. Article in Saturday West Australian, Business section about the BHP plays in the Nickle arena, also mentioned CSM's friendly takeover of REM. Fundementally, Nickle and Iron Ore and other associated minerals rwquired to make steel (in all forms) will continue to be in demand for years to come. We are seeing a short term effect on a company that has seen massive rises, but yet still has low PE's (even at their highs) but which is now very attractive. Have to remember that CSM is now an ASX200 Listed company and therefore many funds have begun holding CSM (many before the last significant rise). So a lot of profits held and the Funds are keen to lock in profits on a market downturn. They WILL be back in buying again.
