If you know about the US market, they have had the propping up of stocks for a long while now with the constant QE programs. Was even called the FED put, so basically people thought of it as an assurance for stocks to rise, backstopped by the FED.
We don't have anything like that locally here. But the closest we have is all the Government support and stimulus programs directed towards the building industry. So I thought who would be in a good position to benefit from all that funding...
