Combine that with increased immigration and the housing crisis is only going to get worse. Governments need to build social housing in numbers of the order of hundreds of thousands, like they did in the 50s. But that won't happen. Maybe all the homeless can go live in nuclear submarines or sports stadiums because that's where all the government money is going.

It's all good for CSR though, they can keep lifting prices while supplies are still constrained.
