In April 2005 Japan issued guidelines recommending QFT be the REPLACEMENT for the TST test. There is a Govt. reimbursement of the fee for QFT tests granted April 2006 which is about 50% of the cost. See August 2006 Cellestis newsletter.
In tube testing is expected soon. 45 million chest x rays are performed in Japan for TB prevention each year because the TST test gave to many false positives, they are now in the throes of switiching to the QFT standard.

By my calculations (maybe wrong) CST will make about US$6.35 NPAT per test. If you scale this up to each million of tests = US$6,350.000 NPAT.
