There are now 2 gaps to fill. The first being $26 the low from Friday due to the gap down today. The other gap is at $30.07 being the low on 4/10/18. Both are now targets. Incidentally the gap on the SPX from its low on 3/10/18 (the date of its previous high) has only recently been filled. That gap took the worry out of being in the SPX. It was always going to be filled at some point in time.
The point I make is that good stocks fill overhead gaps. So in my opinion it really does not matter how low shorts push good stocks down. The gaps will way more often than not eventually be filled.
