Hey, maybe the carry trade is unwinding , causing a false "dead cat bounce" in the USD, only this time slowly. Remember, just a month ago when the USD spiked and gold dropped ,( on a Friday ), only to recover that very afternoon . They tried the same thing the following Friday too. Now that manipulation was way to obvious.
The stratagy was to short gold ( and gold equities ) and go long USD . This would account for the weakening AU $. This could also be a stealth exit from equities. Could this be a prelude to GFC 2 , or just volitility profiteering ?

Buy on dips , sell on rallies , or hold ?
