great comparison. I am in bsx as well to a small degree - while scale and grades are similar I see bsx as quite a different risk profile given the refinery and their aim is to go downstream and produce ncm precursor whereas ctm will just produce nickel concentrate. great if bsx can pull it off but huge financing and then if they can fund operating risk - firstly just trying to fund mine plus the refinery with different lenders and equity into mineco and refineryco and feedstock coming from outside bsx and mine/refinery needing to complete at the same time and all driven by a 200m market cap sponsor. maybe they pull it off and hence the 2b Npv but ...
ctm seems a much simpler proposition - good lom, good jurisdiction, low carbon footprint, scale, low aisc, few moving parts and Vale as offtake and leave the difficult processing to others....
