Well said YLJ. Yes, my approach to trading is strictly technical in nature and I pay almost no attention to fundamentals. As another post here raised I don't take into account new acquisitions etc etc. Charting assumes that parties trading the stock are basing their trades on fundamental analysis and hence that information gets factored into chart prices and movements.
