After doing some research a Hybrid battery is about 12% the size of a full electric vehicle according to this article https://www.jdpower.com/cars/shoppi...ybrid has,the Prius hybrid battery's capacity.
Toyota Prius Hybrid battery weight 118 pounds
Plug in Prius Prime Hybrid 284 pounds
Full electric car @ 1000 pounds
So need to sell a whole heap of Hybrids to keep up what was meant to be the electric car revolution.
I have more hopes with big batteries for homes and the communal ones that are springing up.
Anyway its just slower than was anticipated it is happening and no doubt heaps of nickel will be needed.
I actually saw a brand new Volvo electric prime mover today the local truck dealer was putting it through its paces had electric batteries where the fuel tanks usually live.
After doing some research a Hybrid battery is about 12% the size...
