1. Ballarat goldfields were sold with an inferred resource of 1.5 mill oz at 11.8g/t.
So 1/7th of CTO's JORC resource and slightly lower grade.

CTO is the equivalent of 7 Ballarat goldfields.

2. i don't know what you can get from book values - but we know Lihir is booking an impairment charge of between US$250 million and US$350 million to reduce the book value of the net operating assets at Ballarat from US$457 million on Dec 31, 2008.

so I guess based on the new book value and until we find out what the impairment charge is exactly ..Ballarat goldfields would be valued at between US$107 and US$207 mill .

Let's take halfway and say US$150 mill .. that's close to AUD$200 mill.
