This is an excerpt of the response I received from CTO regarding the XGD gld index against CTOs performance that siameseparrot posted.

We can only hope the exciting opportunity mentioned is real and not a dream.Being committed is one thing but obtaining real results is a whole new ball game.
I am sure I would remain committed as well if for the past 10 years my commitment had resulted in earnings of circa $3mill.for something that at this point in time is nothing more than an underground rock quarry that is coughing up a few ounces of gold.The response below is nothing more than the cow manure that we are fed in the quarterlies over the last 5 or so years.
