Minister for Northern Australia announcement of " Australias Future Gas Strategy " makes several points :
1. new sources of gas supply are needed
2. action to be taken to prevent gas shortfalls ...encourage more timely development of existing gas discoveries in gas producing regions
3. gas will remain an important source of energy
4. australia needs continued exploration investment and development
Federal government has recently given AU$800 million to Arafura Rare Earths project which CTP has contacted to supply gas. Minister is already aware of CTP.
Federal government action to realise above goals could involve CTP (1,2,3 ). Amadeus Basin Mount Kitty, Magee, historically drilled wells have produced high levels of hydrogen and helium readings (1,3,4). Success there produces new gas with addition of gases favoured in green transition (1,2,3,4 ). Dukas and Mahler sites have indications of huge gas volume (1,2,3,4 ). Each of these is in established gas producing regions (4). All of these sites are intended for new drilling and could be done quickly as part of an integrated arrangement (1,2,3,4 ).
CTPs exploration could be directly supported by Federal Government money ( 4 ), success drilling provides basis of building Amadeus to Moomba pipeline which Federal Government could finance and expedite ((1,2,3,4 ).
Any or all of these possible " actions " would give CTP prospects expedited solid certainty increasing value of company exponentially.
