Research from FRONTIER ECONOMICS detailed at MACQUARIE AUSTRALIA CONFERENCE today shows LNG exported by Australia and re-imported to meet gas shortfalls will be significantly higher cost particularly to business enterprises. Re-imported LNG at significantly higher cost means more manufacturing gas using industry closures with more job losses. Retaining Australian industry and jobs requires more local gas production and distribution. CTP has uncommitted gas and extensive gas discovery prospects. Indications are Federal Government may be rethinking to deal with reality of situation. Further attention to gas producers and gas distribution pipeline needs may result in more gas production and distribution initiatives by governments. Movement in government attitude and behaviour would give gas exploration, production, distribution industries more confidence and momentum. CTP near term, mid term,long term exploration prospects are known and being progressed. Shareholder sell down, low-ball takeover offers etc,., now would be done with significant company value enhancing events about to occur.
