I know that this might be irrelevant in these threads, (although IMO it is not so irrelevant as CTP is an O&G supplier), here is some research on what some jets can use in regard of fuel per hour. Based on that you can deduce what I was trying to share with you all before.

In the dense air at sea level with maximum afterburner selected and at high speed, the total fuel flow can be more than 23,000 gallons per hour, or 385 gallons per minute. At this rate you would burn through your entire internal fuel load in about 6 minutes. At higher altitudes the fuel burn is not as extreme but you can easily find yourself below normal recovery fuel if you are not careful.))""
That is a huge amount of fuel which will have to be sourced form somewhere of and when the needs arise.
And then here is another one about an F16 and the amount of fuel needed to keep it flying.:
""((The F-16 at full military power and low altitudes burns about 8000 pounds of fuel an hour, which with a full droptank configuration gives it about 2 hours' flight time.))""
And then don't forget that even a normal 747 jet uses about one gallon of fuel every second.
