RC's basic per annum compensation for 2012 (ie his salary irrespective of when he started with CTP) was $282,986 and his total salary (with share based payments) was $282,986
In 2013 that was increased to $ 577,785 and his total salary with his share based salary was $2,392,228
In 2012 CTP did attract non executive directors (not sure if they are expert) for far less than $30K but all that changed in 2013. For example Andrew Whittle in 2012 received $11K but in 2013 salary he received $87.5K (salary increase 786%)
Wrixon Gasteen in 2012 received a salary of $1.5K but the following year it was increased to $75K
Non exec directors oversight strategic direction etc, all they really do is attend a few meetings each year. It is not correct that junior companies have to pay the CTP level salaries levels to them.
Have you noticed that RC and the other directors double up by getting additional salaries, for example RC gets his $ 577,785, total salary with his share based salary of $2,392,228, and then he charges another $65K as a director and even hits CTP up for $5K for being on the Nominations Committee. He probably empties his own waste paper basket and pays himself another $10K for doing it.
