i also received a letter of invitation from the CTPSA in which these details were requested. i do not believe there is anything in corporations law prohibiting that. if folk are silly enough to comply then that is upon their own heads. it is also nothing new. if the CTPSA actually misused this information then there would be some legal consequences, but ASIC would hardly be involved in a case of fraud or whatever between an independent association and consenting adults. that would be a matter for the police. which is why my question , on what grounds pray tell. however this question was in reply to your post that has been moderated out, so i do not propose to further address the issue.
