Yes I can see how an extensive 3D seismic could reveal a lot more than say another well costing more but maybe missing by a mile or so!
This does make sense to me!
Knowing where they have found oil already and relating it to seismic over the current drilling and to nearby salt dome cover may indeed reveal a very extensive resource that a JV Partner is more likely to be attracted. Good stuff!
But if so why could not we have been informed of this by the Board?
