CTP to show whats there in 3-D, flow some and get some history.
A farm-in gets rights to be operator and fund the operations and CTP gets some up-front cash, I'll guess $10M would be reasonable, the cost of drilling the existing well or there abouts, plus $x per bbl produced.
This would be a great result, and CTP is out of the poverty trap.
I can see why JH wouldn't like it. I can see why the current Board would like it.
CTP can focus on other acreage and for the sake of exposing a nipple, the entire acreage gets credibility (ok, some credibility) and at least its shown that sensible deals can be done.
Would there need to be another CR as everyone fears? Stick a hole in Mt Kitty and if that flows, I think the world would look entirely different.
