Ctp has just announced the appointment of Mr Trevor Shortt as the new exploration manager. "Mr Shortt brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in unconventional drilling, exploration and production operations garnered through his vast experience with North American unconventional reservoirs".
CTP also confirmed that it is actively planning a liquids focussed programme over the next six months and anticipates announcing the selection of a drilling contractor in a matter of weeks.
The program will include the drilling of madigan-1,the first well on a giant structure in the Pedirka Basin with UOIIP ("best"or P50)potential of over 4BILLION barrels based on preliminary mapping of new seismic acquired in 2010.
Obviously this is a huge target and success will be the "gamechanger for both CTP and RAW.
