DH is a driller - he's hands on, techie, get it done on the ground guy. He's not (IMHO) CEO material. I would be running a mile if there was any hint that it was permanent (no offense meant DH, if you're reading this!). Maybe he'll get a few extra options (I hope so) - I'd much prefer the leaders of the company took shares and/or options in (part) payment rather than a huge salary (as JH has been taking for years) - then their interests are more aligned with ours.
