If the options are in the money, then typically a take over offer includes these at an equivalent price effected by the exercise price. Given that you could exercise early and accept heads - the equivalent value is given to them, but not time value.
So if a take over offer of head shares was at 20c, Options would be offered 4c, (16c exercise).
