Interesting point. I think that CTPOA is extremely volatile in price because of the small volume being traded, however - I'm not sure it's worth attributing too much to it because of that.
Last September, when CTP made it's highest mark of 28c (overnight) and 29.5 (during the trading day), CTPOA were trading at about 16c.
That shows something of the difference when time is remaining on the option.
