This thread is turning to uninformed nonsense. Just because the coal is there doesn't mean it will or can be mined.
Wait until boreholes are drilled 500m apart before you start getting excited about defining a reserve.
And "300m is starting to sound shallow". Please google the term stripping ratio and do yourself some learning.
