CTP should already be doing this at Surprise field with plans for more horizontals on other wells.

Why the long wait for a company changing move, where oil is available to who knows what degree but would only really know by horizontal drilling ?
Why the delay by NT Govt if CTP paper work done ?
Strange that Dalton Hallgren wasn't required after oil find, so looks like RC happy to let Santos or whoever pay for the expertise and at slower timeline.
.. as far as JV partner for Surprise there is a known possible choice of Santos, Total, BHP, Chevron, BG, Exxon/Mobil, but wouldn't be surprised if Santos does another deal with RC.
Would be interesting though, if Chevron made a play for Santos.
