In an earlier post you were asked if you understood how off-market buybacks worked and, by implications, what the value transfer mechanisms were in that process.
You never did get round to providing an answer.
Judging from this latest post of yours, I can see why you didn't... don't feel embarrassed; most people find it difficult to talk about something they fail to understand.

Er...can you remind us, how many inquiries of all shapes and forms have taken place over the years into the pricing of transport fuels, whose only conclusions have been a recommendation that consumers should shop around for the best deal?
(Which is really a regulatory euphemism for "the market is functioning competitively".)
