I think something has got lost in translation.

If you read the post in which a $40 price level is referenced, viz. https://hotcopper.com.au/posts/34272555/single, you will see that the theoretical $40 price level is mutually inclusive with the structured off-market buyback.

And it is the buyback into which I intend selling my shares.

So, there is consistency with my selling intention and $40.

(I suspect you might have interpreted my selling intention as being imminent, and on-market, when that is not the case.)

Of course, all of this assumes that CTX is, in fact, going to spin-off its property portfolio and undertake an structured off-market share buyback in the way that I envisage which, it has to be recognised, is only my opinion of what might transpire. If it doesn't, I will see no need to sell my shares.
