I am assuming that you are commenting on two things here.
1. The buyback is getting more expensive. and
2. To take over an explorer will be expensive as the price will need to be a fair bit above the sp.

There is some thinking that we could have a strong rally, but then it all goes pear shaped again. If this is the case, having the cash in the bank means that when the opportunity arises, OZL is in the position to take advantage of it.
