It's going to be very interesting to see what happens with the ASX200, it would seem quite a bizarre strategy to get short in the ASX300 rebalance and then cover most of that in the $6s and $7s only to re-short it again lower on the ASX200. Not saying it won't happen but I can't understand them doing that if they do

Yeah but the lack of short activity prior to inclusion was likely due to the risk that inclusion might happen.
