Long time lurker, first time poster. If anyone will indulge me, I just had a quick question about volume. I noticed on Yahoo Finance that there were two big spikes in volume today: a roughly 29,000 share red line this morning and a 199,000 share green line at 1:25pm. Can anything be gleaned from this or is Yahoo Finance not showing me correct data?
Would I be correct in thinking someone came in with a 29k sell order in the morning and then someone else came in with a 199k buy order at 1:25pm? If so, why did the price not spike in the afternoon? I know this is a very basic question, but any insight would be appreciated. Thanks!
