Presentation not a strong point of mine LR so definitely me not you. LHS is the Aggregate Differential and RHS the Daily Gross Differentials where the differential is data Today less data Yesterday. I prefer use of the Daily Gross as is the closest data to real time but attention to flow of Aggregate definitely something I keep an eye on if looking for longer term trends. What I am seeing is near enough to 1:3 of daily Gross is traders with potentially 2:3 of the Aggregate net hedged. What I particularly look for is extremes on the axis in Gross as potential indication of change in direction and or indicator of strength of any potential movement to help provide a trading current cycle range. For me these Daily Gross figures are like shooting stars where data benefit acquired has a limited life cycle lived compared to its bigger cousin the Aggregate. Often more instinctive than an exact science though and weighed and measured according to the situation at hand - example my general distrust of volume data for this the third week of March as noted above posts for both CU6 and a dozen other indexed stocks and banking ETFs.
