It had just run up 200% from the previous low, to expect it to just continue going up without having a period of consolidation is unrealistic, imo it's just normal price action for it to need a base after such a big move, nothing to do with insider trading. I'm surprised just how far it got before needing a base, to me that just says it's going much higher yet.
