You make a very fair point regarding speculation in a non income generating biotech. I think that there is a crossover threshold when a biotech has enough data to call it an investment, not a gamble, though speculative it remains. I am happy to call it an investment, derisked from an early biotech concern. Happy to hear an alternative view.
Invest in what you understand. Otherwise likely you are gambling.
