Perhaps someone with experience could comment on the process of when Index Funds begin to take a position in likely included companies into the Indices?
I have limited knowledge of the process but I doubt that ASX 200 Index Funds would be already loading up with CU6 simply because there's no certainty it will be included into the ASX 200 - but I'm happy to be corrected on that assumption. The ASX 300 is an entirely different matter, as my view is that its very likely to be included in that Index.
The reason I have my doubts about CU6 inclusion into the ASX 200 is as much about the period of it having sufficient market cap - bearing in mind it only substantially increased in share price over the past few months, before that (prior to May 2024) its market cap was less than A$1 billion.
Perhaps someone with experience could comment on the process of...
