Index inclusion does increase the amount of borrow available, however the current short data (or lack of it) shows most market participants with even a quarter of a brain know that shorting CU6 will not end well for them. There’s no reason for shorters to pile in, and if they do they’ll simply help push this higher when they get margin called in the teens
