It was pretty obvious from the size of the last raise that Alan is aware of the potential to be the big shorts next victim. The shorts will only short if they know a raise is coming and Alan raised enough to see us through at least 2025.
I doubt many shorts are going to go after CU6 as the risk of a pharma offer is just too high and more importantly, unpredictable. What is more likely is an attempt to create a retail panic and then scoop up the cheap shares. Things could continue to be quite choppy for the rest of the year.
