regarding TLX, I feel like an investor frozen in time.

I was very excited about TLX’s prospects very early in, even before it IPO’d.
But in the year or so after it listed, I lost confidence in its ability to execute clinically, i.e. to run trials speedily on its good-sounding drug assets.

At the time of the float, the kidney imaging asset was its flagship asset. it was phase 3 ready and just had already run one successful phase 3 trial and just needed TLX to run a confirmatory phase 3 trial. In the IPO prospectus TLX said the trial would commence the following quarter and they expected the trial to be completed and approved for sale by 24 months post-ipo


after TLX listed nothing on the trial seemed to happen for ages. Eventually the trial started recruiting but then took ages to complete. Then it t ook ages to report results. Then it took ages to submit an approval application to FDA. It still hasn’t been approved as complications have come up with the submission. We are coming up to 7 years. This is a big over-run from the IPO’s forecasted 2 years.

this is
why I feel like a frozen-in-time TLX believer! Until the kidney imaging product is approved, I can’t fully believe that TLX is good at trial execution and regulatory approval stuff.

Of course, TLX is good at many other things, but I do like biotechs that I invest in to be good at the nuts and bolts biotech stuff.

CU6 seems to be very good at the nuts and bolts biotech stuff, so I feel much more comfortable investing in those clinical trial and scientist guys.

I am trying to explain why I was once very passionate about TLX but am now not confident enough in its clinical skills to invest in it right now.
