Yesterday Cuadrilla CEO Francis Egan answered questions from BBC Radio 4 listeners.

It was a constructive program, with the presenter doing a very good job. Before the show on twitter the whole protesting gang was rattled up to sent emails and call in. Clearly they did, as the phone desk made note of many protestors calling.
After the show twitter was buzzing again, as it was found that it was 'biased' from the side of BBC, in support of the tracking initiative. They are not used to a balanced, and calm assessment, as everyone knows. Especially now that all those protestors are losing the trend is towards louder and more extreme argumentation, hoping it will be heard. Trend towards extremism.

The only item that was really unacceptable, but already put straight by the presenter later on, was the questioning of one caller to the program. Immediately Cuadrilla ceo Egan recognised the first name of the caller, and said, Hi to him. He knew him very well, as it was the legal council of Friends of the Earth. This chap didn't bother revealing his identity on introduction, and tried to pretend to be a worried citizen.
Egan made the point that they are communicating with this chap very very regularly, through written correspondence. It makes you wonder why he felt he needed to call in to the show..... A total loss of face for him!
