Michael...re your concern number two. Government support for UK shale gas has been reconfirmed in the past week and pretty well ensures Cuadrilla/AJL UK projects will proceed/expand. (assuming the earthquake issue is smoothed over... which IMO is likely). Drilling has not been stopped.
In the Netherlands Cuadrilla has Govt support..& is partnered with a Govt-linked company.

My concerns centre on the potential for the holders of the RCPS to influence restructuring initiatives. Who are the ultimate holders of the Goldman Sachs issued RCPS?? Is there any alignment between these anonymous Pref s'holders and the controllers of Riverstone/Carlyle?? I note that the Riverstone founders are ex-Goldman Sach's. Worth a google.

If the pending deal is any less than totally transparent and fair to existing shareholders I suggest "we" mobilise.
