In the light of shale developments in the UK an interesting news item for us. The current drilling activities by IGAS are carried out by Cuadrilla, using its Drillmec HH220 Rig.
Excellent, as it shows the confidence in the Cuadrilla capabilities. Previously drilling operations were also carried out for other explorers.
It seems that this way Cuadrilla is realising revenues, and further building its track record and leadership in this industry.
Good news, but we hope that 2014 will be focussed on working our own acreage!
The price of the stock should at least be triple its current value. This week the UK displayed a strong commitment to this clean source of energy, widening the (to be) licensed. If award is on the basis of onshore drilling record in the UK, Cuadrilla has a great position.
