Agree absolutely Fawc's & was merely pointing out that it isn't as straight forward as some would have us believe and especially if you plan to petition the auditor with a 5 fold increase to net pay zone based on fracturing components associated with your globally significant carbonate reservoir..

Now we can all hang off the 293 figure some love to quote (in isolation IMO) but that isn't the whole story nor does it paint the whole picture..

Whereby the oil produced was lab tested at 19 API with a low sulphur count to the point of being considered export grade by the company and I will say it again the well was intentionally choked back to control certain characteristics that would otherwise impede on the collection of reservoir data which is ongoing.

Twist the language however they might, it says quite clearly what the intent was, why and what the peak effect of not doing so quite so stringently was during the PVT which produced the sample grade oil.

LR 5.30 (h) Additional lab results confirm a 19-degree API oil with a relatively low viscosity was recovered at surface. Further PVT analysis is
    underway to determine oil properties.

"The Company’s technical team has incorporated the increase in net pay from 100mTVD to 615mTVD (after incorporating the natural fractures) with the much higher quality oil recovered (19° API, 30 cP viscosity and low sulphur content) leading to potentially higher recovery factors into an updated resource assessment for these units"

Hopefully one day soon, this will all be history.. gltah h8tey

    Conclusion

Some fractured carbonate reservoirs have different reservoir conditions in the near-well zone and far-well zone. Therefore, we can establish a dual-media composite reservoir model explain and analyze the reservoir.(1)The establishment of the theoretical curve chart found that the double logarithmic curve of the model can be divided into six stages: wellbore storage stage, skin effect stage, the pseudo-steady-state channeling stage, flow transitional stage from the outer zone to the inner zone, the pseudo-steady-state channeling stage from the matrix system to the fracture system in the outer zone, and plane radial flow stage(2)Dual-media composite reservoir model is used to explain and analyze the reservoir conditions around Well A-21 of the fractured carbonate reservoir. The double logarithmic curve fits well, indicating that it is feasible to apply the model to explain the reservoir(3)Through the sensitivity analysis of six parameters such as the radius of the inner(R), mobility ratio of the inner zone and outer zone (M), elastic storage capacity ratio of the inner zone (), elastic storage capacity ratio of the outer zone (), channeling coefficient of the inner zone (), and channeling coefficient of the outer zone (), the influence on the pressure difference derivative curve at each stage is obtained

The DST in Unit 1B confirmed the presence of moveable oil considerably lighter and less viscous than that observed in Unit 1A. The fluid that flowed to surface was close to 100% oil with almost zero comingled water and no formation water was observed in either the test or the wireline logs.

Laboratory analysis indicated an API of 19° and low (30 cP) viscosity. The oil was of high quality and should be suitable for refining. Further laboratory testing of the oil’s properties is in progress to better understand its commercial and production characteristics
