Trumpie, I think it goes deeper than that. AP hit a GSD. Sonangol owed him a second well to earn their 70%. AP had Sonangol by the balls. As operator he compelled them to drill Zapato To extract every exploration cent. Sonangol pulled the pin immediately at TD. Zapato failed. Had AP been less dogmatic, changed tack and appraised Al instead as the second well and not comprehensively turnedhis back on a GSD where would the company and SH be. Not f***** which is where we are.
Some say Zapato is in the past, let it go., but it isn’t. It is with us every day. It’s why we are awaiting the McDaniels report and the appraisal of Al and Marti. It is why the SPis 6c not 20. And going forward it raises a serious question.
