Thanks. Begs the question: why would they opt for a slotted liner (when a perforated liner is better for later stimulation)? I think the answer is that (a) they are confident that they will not need to stimulate or lift (i.e. they are confident that it will flow to surface unassisted); and (b) they are confident that the formation is already sufficiently fractured (those previous references to vuggy).
Even recently they noted the use of the slotted liner, and have not backed away from it. Surely a confidence booster.
