The actual copper, gold, cobalt etc is what is important as you say.
The equivalence % is only useful for that particular combination of prices used to calculate it.
Stick to the actual copper actual gold etc and do your own calcs. Thats what will happen when the mined product gets sold. The only numbers that count then are the individual weights delivered and prices obtained.
Equivalence is a great marketing ploy, but dangerous if used without understanding the maths of it.
