My message seems to have got lost somewhere an I'm a little confused by your response. Please allow me to take this to a higher level and explain why I believe we are on different wavelengths here.
Firstly, I didn't start this conversation. Others here expressed their contempt for a system that they believe to be corrupt. Some also expressed their feelings of helplessness at being bound to live within a system which appears to be fundamentally weighted against them, and one told us about Nazis.
My involvement has been to help focus conversations on actual issues that appear to be the root cause of the problems that we experience rather than making random accusations which generally go nowhere. I have tried to express to people that going it alone is a difficult and lonely process which is unlikely to be less successful than seeking out an interest group. By now you should know this from your personal experience and therefore understand where I am coming from.
You compare what you tried to do and what max is attempted to do with what I am suggesting but you in doing so you are comparing apples with oranges. There really is no comparison. Both yourself and Max seek to prove guilt and establish recourse for something that happened in the past. Nothing wrong with that but this has little to do with what I have written about.
My comments and suggestions are not about seeking out and punishing. My comments aren't about what has happened in the past. My comments solely relate to proposing changes to the system in order to make it fairer for retail investors in the future. Yours was an issue with the past while mine is an issue about the future.
In no way or form have I ever discouraged anybody from pursuing their rights to seek recourse for things in the past but lets not throw away our chance at a better future just because you failed to get retribution for what happend in the past. The two aren't mutually exclusive but the mixing them up just causes confusion as your posts demonstrate.
You ask "Do you honestly think that you would be able to get a group willing to get/join in altogether in these Forums, and fight for what we all believe that is wrong". Thats not quite what I have said. There are already a number of groups to represent the interests of shareholders such as the Australian Shareholder Association. If enough retail investors seek out their help then groups like this who are already recognised and have a seat at the table will be more capable of bringing the spotlight onto such issues than a ragtag bunch of posters on an amonymous website. What these groups need is more retail investor support. Its a numbers game and we are all anonymous as things stand.
For those people who feel defenceless and wonder how they can make a difference I hope my posts offer one possible way forward. I merely suggest that we look forward and seek out a basis of a fairer system and not allow that debate to be confused with other specific issues of the past.
I hope this clarifies my position and message Buddy. I sympathise with your position and respect your endevour but please don't allow past injusticies to be the excuse to allow future injustices.
PS. I am not asking anybody to do anything. I am merely responding to those that expressed their concern and frsutration.
