The following is the text of an email that I have forwarded to the Hon. Bernie Ripoll, MP, Parliamentary Secretary to the Treasurer, Parliamentary Secretary for Small Business.
"Dear Hon. Bernie Ripoll, MP,
I refer you to my letter of the 24th April, 2013, concerning my representations for a Government Enquiry into the trading of CuDeco(CDU) Securities on the Australian Securities Exchange(ASX).
I wish to advise you that further research has been undertaken on the "CuDeco Shareholder Research" document.
The report investigates trading in Linc Energy (LNC) and identifies similar patterns of trading to that demonstrated for CuDeco, Lynas Corporation, Billabong Corporation and Echo Entertainment.
The report is titled:
7.2 Further Research Into ASX 200 Companies - Linc Energy (LNC
As mentioned previously, the current aim of research is to demonstrate that share price manipulation is an issue that is likely to severely impact stocks within the ASX200, and in all probability, stocks right across the ASX. It is anticipated that the Linc Energy report will greatly assist in that regard.
A Government Enquiry is considered essential so that forensic investigations can be taken to eliminate manipulation occurring in the trading of CuDeco(CDU) Securities and other companies in the ASX.
Surely, it is a matter of National importance to address constructively and remedy systemic problems that have placed the financial markets in jeopardy.
